Opened the Door

two closet doors open with shirts hanging on two horizontal racks

I opened the door slowly, and she stepped out from my closet into my den. As usual she wasn’t wearing much in the way of clothing. Well, she wasn’t really wearing anything except for my tan camel-haired sports jacket, which of course was buttoned-up, which ensured that most her interesting parts were covered. At least mostly.

She looked directly into my eyes with her blue sparkling eyes. Her head turned about 45 degrees; her sly smile exposed the tips of her perfect bright white teeth that her bright red lipstick highlighted. She almost whispered with her soft feminine voice, “I thought you forgot about me.”

I didn’t Immediately respond as I continued to observe the almost perfect woman standing in front of me.

“I like your sports jacket,” I replied.

“It’s my favorite, keeps me warm and respectable, plus it’s easy to take off, that is if need be.”

She shyly smiled at me again as she pointed towards my green leather couch on the other side of the den and slowly proceeded stepping ever so gingerly to my couch. She sat down ever so slowly crossing her long beautiful legs as her perfect body contacted my couch. Her sly smile remained constant.

“What is on your mind for today?” she asked.

I didn’t answer immediately since I opened my den’s closet door to inspect what was in there. For some reason I had forgotten about her. Which made me question myself as to how I could have forgotten about her.

I looked back at her as she once again gave me her radiant smile and pointed to the vacant space beside her on the couch.

I once again noticed her bright red lipstick that matched perfectly with the red nail polish on her fingers and toes.

As I started to slowly proceed to my green leather couch I heard my wife, Natilda yell from downstairs, “Harold, grab your tan camelhair sports jacket and let’s go. I don’t want to be late for my mother’s dinner of liver and onions tonight.”
